MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Coordinating the
functions of Finance, Human Resources, Information and Communications
Technology, and Facilities and Administrative services and reporting directly
to the Managing Director the successful applicant will be expected to play key
role in development and execution of corporate strategy and organisational
policies, proactively identifying and coordinating appropriate strategic
partner organisations, both in the public and private sector, capable of participating
in the facilitation and/or provision of service that deliver on the mandate of
the Bureau, oversee development and implementation of appropriate operational
processes and procedures that deliver of business management services and
solutions to the rest of the organisation in the most cost effective, value
driven manner to meet the expectations of both the internal and external
customers.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Leadership in the
formulation and implementation of the Bureau’s corporate strategy
Development and
execution of risk management strategies
Active participation at
Executive Committee and Standards Council Committees and implementation of
resolutions and decisions emanating thereof
Develop and supervise
the implementation of the corporate information and communication technology
strategy
Management of both the
financial resources and human capital to ensure capability and capacity to
deliver on the mandate of the Bureau
Periodic reviews of
business processes, including both financial and human resources policies.
Leadership in
development and implementation of Quality Management System
Oversee management of
Performance Management System, Performance Based Reward System and corporate
labour relations
Income generation plans
to maximise return on investment
Ensure compliance to
all statutory requirements governing the activities of the Bureau.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in
Accounting or equivalent plus membership of an internationally recognised
professional accountancy/management institution such as ACCA, CIMA, CA with MBA
as an added advantage.
A minimum of 10 years
administrative and financial management experience in a large organisation of
which 5 years should have been at executive management level. Fully grounded in
matters of corporate governance and demonstrable experience of working with
Board(s) of Director.
A valid driver’s licence
