CUSTOMER SERVICES AND SALES ASSISTANT – LOANS DEPT



Main Purpose of the Job:
To provide over the counter business and commercial services to members in accordance with rules, processes and procedures and the accurate recoding and processing of information relating to loans

Key Performance Areas
1. Customer Service and customer satisfaction
2. Accuracy of record keeping
3. Compliance with rules and procedures

Position Requirements:
Education: AAT or Diploma in Accounting or equivalent. Certificate in Customer service or Public Relations will be an added advantage

Experience: At least 1 year in Finance & Admin preferably in financial services
environment

Core Accountabilities and Activities
1. Serves customers over the counter and explains products answering customer
questions and queries.
2. Promotes and executes loan sales in accordance with laid down procedures.
3. Captures loans information into data base and verifies information with customers.
4. Compiles and finalises documentation and relays to third party service providers
where appropriate.
5. Responds to written requests for services and processes documentation.
6. Liaises with branches on the availability of services and communicates with
members and branches on service lines as appropriate.
7. Prepares necessary reports and statistics for review by supervisor to be used in
management decision making.
8. Reconciles queries with third party service providers.
9. Prepares documentation for loans disbursements
