IN TOURISM

Duties: The successful candidate will be
expected to: (i) teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Tourism; (ii)
supervise both Undergraduate and Graduate student research projects; (iii)
conduct research in their area of expertise; (iv) participate in the academic
and professional activities of the Department; (vi) carry out any other duties
as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Candidates should have: (i) a
Master’s Degree in Tourism or related discipline; (ii) a relevant Bachelors’
Degree with at least a 2(i) pass/ GPA of 3.6; (ii) show evidence of engagement
in research and service; (iii) A relevant PhD will be an added advantage, so
will academic leadership and teaching experience at a University or comparable
institution. The CV should inter alia, provide a detailed list of courses (if
any) ever taught as well as research and publications where applicable. Evidence
of scholarship in environmental systems modeling will be an added advantage.
