Job Description
|
Coca-Cola Fortune currently seeks a passionate individual
with drive and initiative to provide insights and strategic expertise to the
business; lead National Trade Marketing by ensuring that all relevant
insights are available for strategic and tactical planning, implementation,
execution, monitoring and review. In addition the Marketing budget planned,
communicated, executed and tracked. This role requires analytics, consumer
research, strategic and tactical planning skills. The position will be based
in Port Elizabeth and will report to the Marketing Manager.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
|
Key performance areas will include:
•Access information & data to enable: Customer and consumer insights, consumer profiling, shopper insights, competitor tracking and economic indicators for CCF and by District •Provide an overview and insights of how the brands, packs, products and competitors are performing within CCF on both a short term and trended basis •Optimise revenue through reviewing and implementing a fact based OBPPCE plan. (Occasion, brand, pack, price, channel, execution) •Lead & Manage CCF DME and report monthly Act vs. Budget and RE •Ensure activation of local "assets” is linked to strategic intent (Brand strategy). This includes aligning special events & event management to the brand priorities •Liaise with Coca-Cola on all promotions to ensure alignment on all Bottler execution requirements •Develop & Provide District Trade Marketing managers with a decision making framework for the investment tiering of sponsorship special events and promotions •Manage and recalibrate the RED (right execution daily) process to optimise the segmented execution •Ensure that the competitor strategy is in place in conjunction with KO and other bottlers for national /non-national accounts •Develop local competitor strategy •Manage staff to ensure regions are proactively alerted and provided with the necessary insights and information •Provide staff with clear direction regarding their roles and responsibilities |
Skills, Experience & Education
|
•Recognised Business Management Degree (preferably in
Marketing) or equivalent
•Operational Management experience preferably in FMCG (Sales and Marketing) •Channel Management, Sales Management, Revenue and Cost Management •Strong Data management, extraction and forecasting / modelling skills •Extensive Project Management and Consumer/ Shopper Planning experience gained in a multidisciplinary Research and insights function or agency. •Expert understanding of Marketing principles and demonstrated understanding of commercial realities of successful marketing activity and of bringing innovation to market •Extensive knowledge of Planning and Insights tools spanning Consumer, Shopper and Competitor •Strong Commercial understanding with knowledge of RED •Strategic, proactive mind set - ability to identify, initiate and act on opportunities •Understanding of RGM and ability to convert same into winning strategies •Project management skills, People management skills, Communication skills |
