In response to the current situation in the Philippines, Save the Children is in the process of putting together a team to support our emergency response. We are looking for experienced individuals to act as Deputy Team Leaders to provide either operational or programming expertise to support our upscale in the country.

We are looking for experienced individuals to act as Deputy Team Leaders to provide either operational or programming expertise to support our upscale in the country.
As a Deputy Team Leader - Operations, you will
support the Team Leader by providing strategic direction to the country
programme in collaboration with the Country Director. You will also take
leadership on aspects related to staffing structure and management, security,
logistics and M&E systems.
As a Deputy Team Leader - Programming, you will
support the Team Leader by ensuring that humanitarian programmes are delivered
to the appropriate scale, scope, quality and accountability expected and
incorporate a child focussed lens. You will also be expected to mentor and/or
capacity build both international and national staff colleagues.
Deployments are expected to last for at least 12 months with
the possibility of extension thereafter
We are interested in hearing from you if you have good
experience of working in a similar role in an emergency or you can demonstrate
experience of working in similarly complex countries or environments (please
