Policy Advisor National Team for Accelerating Poverty Reduction (TNP2K) Jakarta, Indonesia – Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade–Australian Aid funded Poverty Reduction Support Facility (PRSF) PRSF is a joint facility between Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade–Australian Aid and the Government of Indonesia to improve the quality of policy advice for poverty programs in Indonesia. GRM International is the Managing Contractor contracted by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade–Australian Aid to manage the implementation of PRSF. We are currently seeking a Policy Advisor to support Bappenas in developing partnership with other GoI agencies (DJSN, MoSA, MoH, MoF, TNP2K and BPJS) and donor communities in social protection policy making and implementation. Essential Criteria: Advanced university degree with equivalent backgrounds in relevant disciplines related to social protection, social services, economics, public health and policy making process 10 (ten) years of relevant professional work experience in dealing with social assistance and social security issues, especially in the area of research, strategy and policy development, evaluation and assessment, of which at least 5 years working specifically on social health insurance issues Experience in conducting rigorous program evaluation on both social assistance and social security, especially on the applications of quantitative methods. Extensive familiarity with the recent debates and development of social protection trends in developing countries Sound knowledge on complexity of social protection and poverty reduction issues in Indonesia Proven record of strong stakeholders’ relations, with ability to work in sensitive situations, challenging policy environments, and within GoI institutions/ministries Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesian nationals are encouraged to apply.
