• Project: The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is to contribute to the implementation of Lesotho's national development agenda as embodied in the Vision 2020, which states that by the year 2020 “Lesotho shall be a stable democracy, a united and prosperous nation at peace with itself and its neighbours. It shall have a healthy and well developed human resource base, a strong economy, a well managed environment and an established technological base”.
• Duration: 42 months
• Education: A Post-graduate Degree in the Social Sciences/Humanities, International Development or equivalent domains.
• Experience: - Preferably 10 years of relevant professional experience with a minimum of 7 years required;
  - Working knowledge and understanding of procedures and processes of major multilateral donors;
  - At least 7 years’ experience in public sector environments with a focus on development cooperation management of which at least the last 5 years in developing countries. Specific experience in the SADC region will be an advantage;
  - Specific experience of development cooperation coordination at sector level will be an advantage;
  - Experience in the operationlaisation and management of development coordination databases;
  - An understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks would be an asset.
